Review:
This is a Gothic tale from Guillermo del Toro which also feels like a mash-up of familiar films from del Toro. That being said, the visuals of this film do not dissappoint. While the story, at times, is a but much and lacks something to make it stand out from the mash-up that it is. The acting on the other hand is rather impressive.
That all being said I rather liked this film and aside from Tom Hiddleston I'm not sure why. I would recommend watching this film but I have noticed that reviews for this are all over the place.
